It is wise and healthier for both men and women to always to “Pee” or to Pass Urine Peacefully in Squatting or at least in Sitting Posture.. 🙂

Generally, in the animal kingdom, animals take different postures for standing, sitting, passing urine and passing stool. In human society on the other hand, we see that small children by nature, before they are trained up by adults, naturally pass urine and stool in squatting posture. Why is this so?  An Ayurvedic doctor, Dr. Achyutananda explains, ‘urinating while standing leads us to backache, loss of energy of the senses, fatigue and quick loss of vital energy’. Dr. Shiva, who is also an Ayurvedic doctor, describes that, ‘from a health point of view, by nature male and female bodies are made in a way that when in squatting posture all urine naturally and effortlessly and peacefully flows out, because in this position the human body is more naturally relaxed and that helps urine to completely leave our body. If habitually, we urinate in standing posture, then 5 to 10 percent urine remains in our urinary system. As we see, most dirty things and garbage sediments at the bottom. This means that if one urinates in standing posture and never completely empties the urinary system, our urinary system starts to gather sediment and gradually grows and multiplies dirty things, garbage, bacteria, stones, infections, etc. which gradually causes urinary system diseases, lots of male problems, frustration, depression, and ignorance etc. Ultimately by this unhealthy habit of urinating while standing, we will end up in urinary system diseases like urinary tract infections, incontinence, bladder
cancer, bladder exstrophy, diaper rash, kidney cancer, kidney stones, urethral diverticula, vesicoureteral reflux, cystocele (fallen bladder), hematuria (blood in the urine), impotence, interstitial cystitis,  infertility in men, prostate disease, prostate cancer as well as other unhealthy conditions and diseases affecting the urinary system.’

Unfortunately, we see kids/ boys/ men peeing or urinating under the BOARDS where there is written “DO NOT URINATE HERE!”, even we see kids urinating where ever they get a chance to do whether it is a canal, street, lake, open area like holes in houses and to the worst extent in the shower areas….. do-not-urinate.png

Unfortunately, in present day, under the flags of freedom and hygiene, many advertisements are even promoting for females to urinate by standing. In the aspects of health, as unhealthy pee or urinate by standing for femalewe mentioned before, for females to urinate by standing is far more dangers than for males. Those women, who practice this unhealthy standing while urinating posture, it is for sure that they will ultimately end up with gynecological and urinary system health problems and diseases, faster than males.

“Urinary system diseases affect the lives of millions of people every year. Some cause temporary inconvenience and discomfort. Others can cause extreme pain and may even be fatal.” (www.ehow.com – Urinary system diseases)

Jordana Cherrywood – Lip liner

Hey beauties! You know the one thing that makes me incredibly happy? When I find a lip product that works on my incredibly dry lips, without appearing patchy and dry. And this Jordana Quickliner Lip Pencil in Cherrywood does exactly that for me!

I love Rimmel lip liners; they’re so smooth to apply and so affordable. But there are such limited shades. That’s where Jordana pops in! 12 brilliant shades of affordable lip liners. They are just as smooth and easy to apply, even on my dry flaky lips. Pigmentation is spot on. They last all day and leave a stain behind as well. They are not retractable though, you have to sharpen them up.

‘Cherrywood’ is the perfect shade for fall! A deep, berry red with brown undertones. Yes, the color of our kidneys 😛 I love the color and texture so much that I might wear it alone as a lip color! And I think that’s the best compliment a lip liner could ever get ^_^.

Further note, Jordana is a cruelty-free, animal-friendly brand ^_^

Dry Skin Diary – Favorite Freeman Masks

Gorgeous girls with dry skin, I know all of you are dreading winter. All is well ’cause I’m here to the rescue! ^_^ I have some amazing masks for dry skin to talk about today, all from the affordable and readily available brand, Freeman Beauty.
The one that deep cleans – Avocado & Oatmeal Clay Mask – Both the ingredients are amazing for nourishing dry skin, however, in this mask they are combined with clay so they work to deep clean the skin from all impurities, whilst keeping it soft. I know clay masks are DISASTROUS for us dry skin girls. They leave our skin itchy and even drier. But if you use Freeman Beauty Avocado & Clay Mask once a week, and follow up with your toner and moisturiser, I assure you you’re skin will feel squeaky clean without that horrible dryness.
The one that exfoliates – Pineapple Enzyme Mask – This one is a fruit peel mask. You’re supposed to use this INSTEAD of your regular scrub. I repeat, instead of. It exfoliates your skin in the most comfortable way – amazing for sensitive skin by the way – and leaves skin smooth and glow-y. I’ve only used this thrice and I can honestly say my skin looks brighter and my tan has reduced! I would advice you to use this only once a week for a while and then level up to twice a week, but that’s it. You shouldn’t use it more than that otherwise your skin would be over exfoliated and terribly exposed to the harmful sun.
The one that hydrates – Goji Berry Hydration Mask – This mask is my love!! It was my first mask by Freeman Beauty. It hydrates your skin deeply but doesn’t leave a film of oil. Regular usage fixes up dry and dark patches from the skin. and of course, it leave skin incredibly soft and smooth. It’s a must-have for winter! You can read my complete review about this mask here.
My routine – Always remember to not use any masks, especially clay masks, on your skin after the enzyme one. ‘Cause your skin gets really really sensitive after using both of those. Try to leave gaps between exfoliation and clay masks. I use the clay mask on Wednesdays. On Fridays I use the enzyme mask, and hydrating one on Sundays. But this is my mask routine right now in fall. In winter I will be using the hydrating mask 2-3 times a week, enzyme mask 1-2 times a week and clay mask after 2 weeks. In summer I only use the hydrating mask once every 2 weeks ’cause my moisturiser is enough.
All the above mentioned masks are available at
I hoped I helped out with my post! Freeman has some more gorgeous masks out, but I have no clue when us Pakistanis are gonna get them in store 😦 Which Freeman mask is your favorite?

Aloe VERA Pure Juice & Kidney Stones

Kidney stones are crystal deposits that accumulate in your kidneys or bladder. According to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, approximately 1 million Americans develop the condition each year. While doctors consistently encourage sufferers of kidney stones to follow a low-protein, high-fiber and high-fluid diet, herbalists claim that aloe juice may help reduce stone formation. Check with your physician, however, before embarking on any self-help therapy.

About Aloe

Native to Africa and cultivated worldwide, aloe, or aloe vera, reaches heights of 2 feet and bears spikes of yellow or orange flowers. The prickly, fleshy leaves of the plant contain two valuable substances — gel and latex, or juice — that constitute the source of aloe’s medicinal powers. While aloe gel ranks as the favored topical treatment for skin conditions, aloe vera juice has historically lent itself as an internal treatment for digestive disorders.

Kidney Stones

Kidney stones typically start in the center of your kidney as very small concentrations of calcium, uric acid and other substances in your urine. While small stones often pass unnoticed, over several years, as more material accumulates, large solid crystals can form and lodge in your urinary tract. Dislodged stones can cause gripping pain, blood in your urine, chills, fever, sweating, nausea and vomiting.

Aloe Juice-Kidney Stones Link

Aloe juice contains key constituents such as aloin, aloin-emodin, resins, tannins and polysaccharides, plus 20 minerals, 12 vitamins and 19 amino acids essential for good health. In addition, aloe provides aloemannan, a complex sugar that concentrates in your kidneys. According to Phyllis A. Balch, certified nutritional consultant and author of the book “Prescription for Herbal Healing,” aloemannan stimulates production of healthy kidney cells while slowing the rate of crystal deposits that cause kidney stones. Balch recommends drinking 1/4 cup of aloe juice daily for no longer than two consecutive weeks.

What are KIDNEY STONES and how to TREAT them?

Kidney stones are made of salts and minerals in the urine that stick together, creating small “pebbles” formed within the kidney or urinary tract. They can be as small as grains of sand or as large as golf balls. Kidney stones are a common cause of blood in the urine and often severe pain in the abdomen, flank, or groin. One in every 20 people develops a kidney stone at some point in their life.

What causes kidney stones?

Kidney stones form when a change occurs in the normal balance of water, salts, minerals, and other substances found in urine. Other chemical compounds that can form stones in the urinary tract include uric acid and the amino acid cystine. Dehydration through reduced fluid intake and strenuous exercise without adequate fluid replacement increase the risk of kidney stones. Some people are more likely to get kidney stones because of a medical condition or family history, as the tendency to form kidney stones may also be inherited. If other people in your family have had them, you may have them too.

Who is likely to develop a kidney stone?

For unknown reasons, the number of people in the United States with kidney stones has been increasing over the past 30 years. The prevalence of stone-forming disease rose from 3.8% in the late 1970s to 5.2% in the late 1980s and early 1990s. White Americans are more prone to develop kidney stones than African Americans, and they occur more frequently in men. The prevalence of kidney stones rises dramatically as men enter their 40s, and it continues to rise into their 70s. For women, the prevalence of kidney stones peaks in their 50s. Once a person gets more than one stone, others are more likely to develop.

What are symptoms of kidney stones?

Kidney stones often cause no pain while they are in the kidneys, but they can cause sudden, severe pain as they travel from the kidneys to the bladder. Symptoms and signs include excruciating, cramping pain in the lower back and/or side, groin, or abdomen as well as blood in the urine. If infection is present in the urinary tract along with the stones, there may be fever and chills. A doctor should be called immediately.

How are kidney stones diagnosed?

The diagnosis of kidney stones is suspected by the typical pattern of symptoms when other possible causes of the abdominal or flank pain are excluded. Imaging tests are usually done to confirm the diagnosis. A helical CT scan without contrast material is the most common test to detect stones or obstruction within the urinary tract. In pregnant women or those who should avoid radiation exposure, an ultrasound examination may be done to help establish the diagnosis.

What is the treatment for kidney stones?

Most kidney stones eventually pass through the urinary tract on their own within 48 hours, with ample fluid intake. Pain medications can be prescribed for symptom relief. There are several factors which influence the ability to pass a stone. These include the size of the person, prior stone passage, prostate enlargement, pregnancy, and the size of the stone. A 4 mm stone has an 80% chance of passage, while a 5 mm stone has a 20% chance. Stones larger than 9-10 mm rarely pass on their own and usually require treatment.

How can kidney stones be prevented?

The most common cause of kidney stones is not drinking enough water. Try to drink enough water to keep your urine clear (about eight to 10 glasses of water a day). Drinking grapefruit juice may increase your risk for developing kidney stones.

What are risk factors you can control?

If you think that your diet may be a problem, schedule an appointment with a dietitian and review your food choices. Vitamins C and D can increase your risk of kidney stones when you take more than the daily recommendations. Levels of calcium in the diet may also affect your risk of kidney stones. Getting the recommended amounts of calcium combined with a low-sodium, low-protein diet may decrease your risk of kidney stones. Diets high in protein, sodium, and oxalate-rich foods, such as dark green vegetables, also increase your risk for developing kidney stones.

Learn about additional risk factors you can control.

Weight gain can result in both insulin resistance and increased calcium in the urine, which can result in a greater risk for kidney stones. In one study, weight gain since early adulthood, a high body mass index (BMI), and a large waist size increased a person’s risk for kidney stones. People who are not very active may also have problems with kidney stones.
